Durk Jan de Bruin (founder of startpagina.nl too) and John Zanoni founded myShop.com. The concept of myShop.com had his origin in the graduate project of Durk Jan at the university of Leiden in 1997. During his study De Bruin was leader of a project to build a website for the Technische Unie This is one of the biggest Dutch B2B sites where you can order more then 170.000 products online. The concept behind myShop is that many companies have already their product data in their pc, usually in Excel or in a database. The software of myShop.com changes this data into a webshop which can be used directly. The only thing the webshop owner must do is to select the settings of preferences. The result is a rapid and flexible webshop which can be integrated invisible into the own site.

The friendship between John and Durk Jan exists since they worked together building websites. Another friend, Henk, worked from 2001 until 2006 for myShop too, but unfortunately he deceased. In the last years Winnie and Marcel, old friends too, joined the myShop.com team. Because of the long relation- and friendship the myShop.com team is now a solid team which faces the future with confidence and enthousiasm. myShop.com has besides the mentioned persons many partners which work daily for myShop.com too and with which we have longterm relation ships.
